Word shows a tidy page after you hide the markup. That does not mean the revisions have left the file. A recipient may turn the markup back on and see wording that was hidden on your screen.
Keep the working document with its review trail. In a separate copy, review the tracked changes and decide which to accept or reject. Switching tracking off only stops new edits being recorded; it does not resolve earlier changes. Check comments separately.
Suppose you changed a delivery day from Tuesday to Thursday with tracking enabled. The page can show Thursday while the deleted Tuesday remains stored as a revision. Reopen your sending copy with all markup visible and check that the decisions you intended have actually been applied.
Where your edition offers Document Inspector, run it on that copy and read the findings before removing anything: some removals cannot be undone. Save, close and reopen the exact file you intend to attach. A clean screenshot or a separate PDF tells you nothing conclusive about the review information still stored in the editable Word file.
